It may sound strange, but research suggests that individuals with a strong sense of smell are more likely to have a more active sex life too.

The study revealed that people with a strong sense of smell not only enjoy sex more but have more orgasms as well.
The researchers gave 42 women and 28 men Sniffin’ Sticks to evaluate their smell. They also answered questionnaires about their sex life.
The researchers uncovered that those who had a strong sense of smell also reported a more active sex life, more pleasurable sex, and greater sexual satisfaction.
It is still unknown as to why or how smell is linked with sex, but the researchers hypothesized that “the perception of body odors such as vaginal fluids, sperm, and sweat seems to enrich the sexual experience.” This suggests that sniffing your partner may make for a better sexual encounter.
